Salary: andpound;29,344 andndash; andpound;44,919 (depending on experience)

About the Role:
An engaging and forward-thinking secondary school in Bedford is looking to appoint an experienced and inspiring English Teacher. The successful candidate will join a dynamic English department, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be committed to delivering high-quality, creative lessons that foster critical thinking and a passion for literature and language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Plan lessons that support varied learning needs and styles
• Track pupil progress and provide timely interventions
• Contribute to the wider school community and literacy initiatives
• Maintain high standards of classroom practice and behaviour

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree in English or a related subject
• Experience of teaching English to a range of abilities
• Excellent subject knowledge and lesson planning skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
