The FX Risk valuation platform being built serves traders, sales and external clients with real-time derivatives pricing, risk management and data analytics. The application is designed to be scalable across locations with web-based UI, server-side computing and distributed in-memory solutions.We are currently seeking a strong and motivated FX Risk Lead Java Developer.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices for a high-throughput applicationIntegrate and optimize an in-memory data grid solution (Apache Ignite) for FX trades processingImplement real-time data ingestion and processing pipelines using Apache Kafka / Solace messagingDesign and maintain robust MongoDB / Oracle data models and queries for data persistenceEnsure application scalability and reliability in a cloud-hosted Linux environmentCollaborate with DevOps to containerize services and deploy using CI/CD pipelinesConduct performance tuning, code reviews, and troubleshoot production issuesDocument system architecture, design decisions, and development processesWhat we want from you
Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and multithreading in high-load systemsExperience with JVM performance optimization and memory profilingFamiliarity with distributed systems architecture and in-memory computing conceptsProven experience with Apache Ignite in production environmentsSolid experience with MongoDB (CRUD, indexing, performance tuning)Deep SQL knowledge and query optimization in OracleUnderstanding of messaging technologies Apache Kafka / SolaceProficiency with Linux environments and scriptingExperience deploying and maintaining applications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)Commitment to TDD and readiness for L3 support and production release activitiesEnglish: B1 levelQualifications
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsWorking knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methodsAbility to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of parts of a projectNice-to-Have
