As a Senior Contract Manager, you will lead negotiation, performance governance, and compliance for NEC4-based, high-value contracts across projects. You will act as NEC4 Service Manager (similar to NEC Project Manager) for core programmes, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory standards.As part of the Commercial Consulting team, you will tailor recommendations to client needs, facilitate decision-making through collaboration, and foster expertise in specific markets or consulting areas. Leading drafting, negotiation, and finalisation of NEC4 contracts, ensuring compliance with frameworks, procurement protocols, and legislation.Supervising contract delivery under NEC arrangements, coordinating with partners, and driving project milestones.Monitoring supplier performance, driving improvements, and resolving issues collaboratively.Implementing cost controls, verifying expenditures against forecasts, and providing financial reports and forecasts.Managing commercial risks, recommending decisions aligned with SBS priorities, and maintaining contractual health.Communicating effectively across NHS SBS, NHS Trusts, and government entities to ensure consistency and alignment.Utilising CEMAR for contract event management, e-tendering, and procurement platforms; understanding NEC contract processes.Managing project timelines, resource dependencies, and deliverables using Oracle Primavera P6.What you’ll bring:

Substantial NEC4-based contract management experienceExperience within NHS or public-sector consulting environmentsProven track record managing multi-million-pound, regulated contracts and frameworksExpertise in NEC4 contract structures and digital management tools like CEMARFinancial oversight and cost verification skillsExcellent negotiation, partner management, and conflict resolution abilitiesFlexibility and adaptability, with the ability to bring structure to teams in ambiguous situations.If you are interested but unsure if your skills match exactly, please apply.
