Job Title: Site Manager - Major Roundabout Upgrade (Short Term)
Location: Northampton
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until Early November 2025
Rate: -350370 per day (Outside IR35)

We are urgently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a major roundabout upgrade project in Northampton. This is a short-term contract role with an immediate start, running through to early November 2025 - with potential for further works beyond this project.
You will play a key role in managing on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget, in line with highways and local authority standards.

• 
  Daily site supervision and coordination of subcontractors and workforce
• 
  Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and quality standards
• 
  Liaise with the project manager, local authorities, and stakeholders
• 
  Monitor progress, manage site documentation, and report issues proactively
• 
  Oversee traffic management measures and minimize disruption to the public
• 
  Attend and contribute to site meetings and toolbox talks

• 
  Proven experience managing highways or civil infrastructure projects
• 
  Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications
• 
  Strong understanding of traffic management and working in live environments
• 
  Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme targets
• 
  Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
