Are you an experienced Adult Clinical Lead, Complex Care Nurse or Community Nurse looking for a senior clinical position where you can have genuine ownership of your caseload?

We are recruiting for an Adult Clinical Lead to oversee a manageable portfolio of adult complex care packages across Norfolk and Suffolk. This is a hybrid community-based position offering significant autonomy, a competitive salary of -55,00060,000 plus a company car, and the opportunity to join an established and growing complex care provider.

As an Adult Clinical Lead, you will take clinical responsibility for approximately 8-10 packages, ensuring individuals with high-acuity and complex healthcare needs receive safe, effective and person-centred care within their own homes.

The Role
Working across Norfolk and Suffolk, you will provide clinical leadership for adults receiving complex care within their own homes. You will have responsibility for the complete clinical journey, from initial assessment and mobilisation through to ongoing reviews, governance and clinical competency.

Responsibilities will include:

• Clinical oversight of approximately 8-10 adult complex care packages.
• Completing initial clinical assessments, care plans and risk assessments.
• Supporting the safe mobilisation of new community care packages.
• Reviewing packages and responding to changes in clinical need.
• Delivering clinical training and competency assessments for Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
• Supporting tracheostomy, ventilation and other high-acuity packages.
• Working closely with families, case managers, commissioners, ICBs and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Leading on safeguarding, incidents, clinical risk and quality improvement.
• Maintaining excellent clinical governance and documentation standards.
• Providing clinical guidance and support to frontline care teams.

About You
To be considered for this Adult Clinical Lead position, you will need:

• Active NMC registration as an RGN.
• At least three years of UK adult complex care or relevant community nursing experience.
• Recent experience supporting high-acuity complex healthcare needs.
• Strong knowledge of tracheostomy and ventilation care.
• Experience completing clinical assessments, care plans and risk assessments.
• Experience delivering training and completing clinical competency sign-offs.
• Strong safeguarding and clinical governance knowledge.
• Previous Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse or equivalent community complex care experience would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Norfolk and Suffolk.

You will be joining a growing, nurse-led community complex care provider supporting adults with significant and complex healthcare needs to live safely and independently within their own homes.

The organisation has a strong focus on clinical quality, manageable caseloads and giving its clinical teams the autonomy to make decisions around the individuals they support.

Although this vacancy is being advertised in Colchester, the caseload itself covers packages across Norfolk and Suffolk, so regular travel throughout these areas will be required.
