We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kettering that is seeking to appoint committed Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2026. The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis; however, long-term supply and fixed-term contract arrangements will also be considered for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to gain valuable experience supporting children in a nurturing primary school environment.

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum

• Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups, including those with additional learning needs (SEND)

• Supporting early reading, writing, phonics, and numeracy development

• Helping pupils stay focused, engaged, and motivated throughout the school day

• Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, safe, and supportive classroom environment

• Assisting with targeted interventions to help pupils make progress

• Encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning in young children

• Are considering a career in teaching, early years, or SEND support

• Want to gain experience in a primary school setting

• Have a genuine passion for working with children

• Are looking to return to work or transition into education

• Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic when working with children

• Communicates effectively with pupils, staff, and parents

• Is reliable, flexible, and able to adapt in a busy classroom environment

• Works well as part of a team and takes initiative when required

• Has experience working with children (education, nursery, care, youth work, coaching, or similar-desirable but not essential)

• A full-time opportunity within a supportive and welcoming primary school in Kettering
