Are you an experienced Internal Sales or Account Management professional who enjoys developing customers and spotting opportunities to grow business?

We're recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to take ownership of an established customer portfolio, strengthen relationships, re-engage accounts and identify new opportunities to increase sales.

This is a proactive role for someone who enjoys getting to know their customers, developing business and seeing the results of their work.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts
  
  
• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase sales and account value
  
  
• Make proactive outbound account management calls
  
  
• Research existing customer groups to identify new branches, locations and opportunities to develop
  
  
• Re-engage dormant and down-trading accounts to recover and grow business
  
  
• Manage customer enquiries, quotations and follow-ups from initial contact through to completion
  
  
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, while maintaining accurate CRM records

• Previous experience within B2B Internal Sales or Account Management
  
  
• Proven ability to develop existing customer accounts and identify new sales opportunities
  
  
• Confident making proactive outbound calls and building long-term customer relationships
  
  
• Commercially minded with experience of upselling, cross-selling and growing customer spend
  
  
• Comfortable working towards sales, account growth and activity-based targets
  
  
• Highly organised with the ability to manage a large customer portfolio and multiple requirements
  
  
• Confident using CRM systems to manage customer activity, opportunities and follow-ups
