We are currently seeking a Plant Equipment/HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive dealership based in the Westbury area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £42000 with OTE of circa £50000 with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Our Client is looking for a Plant Technician/HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:

- Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation
- Performing major and minor repairs to plant equipment as well as heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles as required. 
- Working with other departments, including the sales team, to ensure a quality and reliable service level is provided to customers. 
- Providing in-house training to recruits and trainees as required. 

Requirements:

- Previous working experience within the role
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
