Commercial Manager - Permanent - Coventry - Established Organisation - Water Industry - Hybrid Working Your new company Our client, an established and high-profile organisation operating in the water industry, is seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team.This is a full-time permanent position (37 hours per week, Monday - Friday), with hybrid and flexible working, based out of their Coventry office.Your new role As Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:Managing cost reporting for allocated projects, including cost forecasting and anticipated final costMonitoring and reporting on all commercial aspects of projects, proposing mitigation actions for any issues.Managing the assessment and valuation of contractor applications and payment certificationsProducing payment applications/invoices and managing commercial risk and claimsProviding advice on change management and producing documentation for approvalEnsuring proper retention and archiving of commercial records and undertaking final account settlementsCollaborating with stakeholders on managing contracts and supplier relationships to maximise commercial and contractual benefits.What you''ll need to succeed In order to be successful, you must have:Proven experience in commercial management within the civil engineering industry, ideally within the water sectorExperience managing NEC contracts and a strong understanding of commercial practices and risk managementSound financial and analytical skills, with ..... full job details .....
