Finance Assistant

Role: Finance Assistant Location: Capenhurst, CheshireStart date: ASAPDuration: 2 month contractMain DutiesTo process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner, including liaison with internal and external suppliers. Processing purchase invoices or sales invoices.To maintain accurate financial recordsTo assist with the month end and year processesManage the Accounts Payable Mailbox efficiently and effectivelyEnsure Purchase Orders are raised promptly and accurately Ensure supplier statements are regularly reconciledAssist with Credit ControlUndertake other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility defined in the job description.Key RelationshipsCFOFinancial ControllerFinance TeamPurchasing ManagerQualifications and EducationEvidence of commitment to own personal development, being prepared to undertake training relevant to the post.Minimum of GCSE English and Mathematics at grace C or above, or equivalentEssential Skills and ExperienceExperience of financial administrationExperience of maintaining financial information systems and making paymentsExperience using Microsoft Office products, including Words and Excel Experience of working as part of a teamExperience of working on own initiativeAble to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detailRespect confidentialityExcellent communications skills including telephone skillsAbility to meet deadlinesDesired SkillsHave a neat and organised approach to workKnowledge of the ..... full job details .....
