Structural EngineerLocation: Birmingham Salary: Up to 60,000 + Package Contract Type: Permanent Sector: Main Contractor ConstructionThe OpportunityAn established large main contractor is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its team in Birmingham.This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer looking to work within a major contracting environment, supporting the successful delivery of technically challenging construction projects across the West Midlands and wider region.The contractor operates across a diverse portfolio of projects, including multi-storey car parks, residential developments and industrial schemes, offering excellent variety and exposure to different forms of construction.The successful candidate will work closely with project, design and construction teams, providing structural engineering expertise from design development through to delivery on site.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Structural Engineer, you will:Provide structural engineering input across a range of live and pre-construction projects.Review structural designs, drawings, calculations and technical specifications.Work closely with design managers, project managers, site teams, consultants and subcontractors.Identify and resolve structural and technical issues throughout the construction process.Coordinate structural elements with architectural, MandE and wider design packages.Support design development and value engineering exercises.Review subcontractor and specialist design ..... full job details .....
