This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and leading on key areas of the Trust''s Information Governance portfolio.You will be the Trust''s subject matter expert on IG, providing strategic and operational leadership, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices. This includes managing requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Environmental Information Regulations 2004, and advising on the Data Protection Act 2018. Key Responsibilities Act as the Trust''s lead for Information Governance, offering expert advice and guidance across the organisation. Manage and respond to Freedom of Information (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulation (EIR) requests. Provide specialist support on data protection matters, including compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018. Serve as the primary point of contact for IG-related queries and complaints, ensuring timely and compliant responses.
