Accounts Assistant!Based in Wolverhampton Flexibility for part-time or full-time hoursTemporary ongoing £13.00 to £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)We are seeking a detail-focused and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the finance function across accounts payable, purchase and sales ledger, and payroll.This role is ideal for someone with strong transactional finance experience who enjoys working in a busy environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching, batching, and coding purchase invoices in line with company policiesManaging the purchase ledger, including supplier reconciliations and query resolutionSupporting the sales ledger, including invoice raising, cash allocation, and credit control support as requiredPreparing and processing payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, cheques)Maintaining accurate supplier and customer account recordsPayroll and wages administrationSupporting month-end processes, including ledger reconciliations and reportingSetting up new supplier and customer accounts and ensuring compliance with internal controlsResponding to internal and external finance queries in a professional and timely mannerAssisting with audits and ad-hoc finance administration duties as requiredSkills and ExperienceProven experience in an accounts payable or finance administration roleHands-on experience with purchase ledger and sales ledger processesPayroll or wages administrationStrong attention to detail ..... full job details .....
