Project Engineer (RC Frame / Groundworks) Port Talbot Permanent salary + benefits package An established UK contractor specialising in civils, groundworks, and reinforced concrete structures is seeking a Project Engineer to support delivery on a major industrial development in Port Talbot. This is a key role supporting the delivery of complex RC and groundworks packages, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and design functions to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. Key Responsibilities Support the planning and delivery of groundworks and reinforced concrete packages Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design information Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal engineering teams Oversee setting out, quality assurance, and site inspections Manage RFIs, technical queries, and design coordination Assist with short-term programming and sequencing of works Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards Coordinate temporary works and logistics where required Support delivery of: Foundations (pile caps, ground beams, rafts) Excavation and earthworks Drainage and external works Maintain accurate site records, including as-built drawings Key Requirements Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Proven experience in groundworks and reinforced concrete construction Earthworks and excavation techniques Structural concrete and formwork systems Drainage and ..... full job details .....
