The work involves close liaison with the wider Facilities and Estates teams, Service Delivery and Compliance Managers, Campus Service Teams, alongside all Facilities and Estates staff, other university stakeholders, and contractors. The post holder will also support logistics, cleaning, and emergency response functions during peak operational periods.Accountabilities and responsibilities: Timely collection and distribution of linen to ensure smooth transitions between student departures and incoming conference guests. Swift removal and delivery of furniture and white goods to minimise student complaints and enhance new arrivals'' experiences. Efficient transport and storage of housekeeping supplies, ensuring teams are fully equipped, particularly during peak transition periods. Deep cleaning tasks, including carpet shampooing, mattress replacements, and mould removal, to maintain hygiene standards. Prompt waste removal from bedrooms and communal areas to enable efficient housekeeping operations.
