Our client, a well-established independent garage in Andover with over 60 years of service, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled and experienced motor trade professionals looking to work in a reputable, friendly environment.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
• Accurately diagnose faults and report findings to the Workshop Manager
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company procedures
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and work to high-quality standards
• Maintain a high level of productivity and work efficiently within team targets
• Assist with basic vehicle inspections and MOT testing (training provided if necessary)

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• No formal qualifications are essential; practical, "time served" experience is highly regarded
• An IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is advantageous
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• A motivated team player with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Individuals with a valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence are preferred but not mandatory; training available for suitable individuals
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
