Senior Quantity Surveyor (Residential/Commercial) – Leicester – Salary: Up to £75,000 plus packageOur client, a specialist contractor with a Head Office in the East Midlands, is actively looking to develop their operational team with the introduction of a Senior Quantity Surveyor. As a main contractor, they primarily work within the Build/Refurbishment Division across residential, commercial and education projects. They currently deliver a turnover of circa £80 million, with projects ranging in value up to £20 million.Responsibilities

The Senior Quantity Surveyor should have well-rounded general main contracting experience gained through working on a variety of project types, with the ability to work independently with confidence and decisiveness.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead on commercial management for allocated projects, from procurement through to final account.Manage subcontractor supply chains, cost control, and value engineering opportunities.Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to ensure project objectives are met.Provide regular financial forecasts, risk assessments, and reporting to stakeholders.Qualifications

Previous New Build and Refurbishment experience is essential.Residential and Commercial experience.Experience working as a lead on projects.NEC/JCT form of contract knowledge.Package
