Volunteer Coordinator - Domestic Abuse

Right now, we are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Volunteer Service for Domestic Abuse in London. Sounds great, what will I be doing? This role focuses on leading and coordinating volunteer-led projects across Hestia''s Domestic Abuse (DA) services using a structured project management approach. You will be responsible for engaging, recruiting, and onboarding volunteers in line with Hestia''s processes, ensuring they are well-supported and integrated into service delivery. A key aspect of the role involves inspiring teams to think creatively about how volunteers can enhance services, particularly in ways that bring joy, empowerment, and purpose to women affected by domestic abuse. You will build strong relationships with DA services, providing guidance to staff to ensure volunteers are effectively supported and valued. The role also includes managing volunteer enquiries, promoting volunteering opportunities externally, and maintaining accurate records for monitoring and reporting purposes.
