Job Description:Role Title: Solution Architect Location: 2 days per week on site Rate: £590 per day (Inside IR35) Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required Length: 6 months contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join one of our Government Clients across a programme transitioning from the Alpha phase into Beta Key Responsibilities Architectural Artefacts: Verify and develop HLDs and LLDs using standard architecture tooling, ensuring alignment with central governance processes and standards Discovery Gap Analysis: Identify and close architectural gaps left from the discovery phase to produce complete, actionable solution designs Stakeholder Engagement: Run options analyses, lead collaborative design workshops, and engage directly with programme stakeholders and technical communities to achieve consensus Governance and Validation: Present and validate solution options through peer reviews, design forums, and Technical Design Authorities (TDAs). Hands-on Support: Work directly alongside Alpha phase development and DevOps teams to communicate agreed architectures and refine designs based on practical feedback. Future Procurement Strategy: Support the definition of requirements for upcoming procurement and development activity informed by hypothesis testing.
