Patient Liaison Officer

Job Title: Patient Liaison Officer
Office Location: (Remote working)
Pay: -13 - -14 per hour
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Hours/Days: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm
This role supports a ADHD services team, playing a key part in the application and diagnosis process for patients. Ideal candidates will have medical administrative experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive approach. Ideally experienced working in neurodivergent services and an up-to-date DBS.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone queries and providing support to patients
- Responding to patient enquiries via email in a timely and professional manner
- Sending ADHD application questionnaires to patients using internal systems
- Registering new patients on the internal database
- Finalising reports and distributing results to both patients and their GPs
- Assisting with the coordination and management of consultant rotas
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in medical administration
- A valid and up-to-date DBS certificate
- Previous experience in neurodivergent or mental health services is highly desirable
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent written communication
- Highly organised and proactive in approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
