We are currently supporting our client who is a globally recognised language agency-in their search for experienced freelance German English telephone interpreters. This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity ideal for professional interpreters looking to expand their portfolio or add flexible hours to their schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver real-time telephone interpretation between English and German speakers.
• Support public sector organisations, including NHS and healthcare providers.
• Use a dedicated app to manage and respond to live interpretation requests.
• Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity throughout each call.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in professional verbal interpretation
• Fluent in both English and German
• UK-based and eligible to work on a self-employed basis.
• Strong cultural awareness of both language groups
• Community Interpreting Level 3 (or higher) is desirable.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
