An exciting role has become available for a Senior Quality Engineer at a leading coatings company. You will be responsible for ensuring that all procedures and processes being fully implemented and continuous improvement opportunities are identified effectively as well as guaranteeing that products manufactured fully achieve customer and company specifications. You will be reporting directly to the QHSE Manager and working closely with the Sales, Supply-Chain, RandD and Operations teams to resolve customer concerns effectively. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with customers'' quality and engineering personnel to ensure all internal systems comply with expectations Provide quality support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerance, and performance related issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing resources. Maintain IMDS database and annual submissions and apply appropriate use of statistical techniques Develop and submit PPAP documents for new product launches and/or modifications to existing products Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes. Review and analyse results. Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
