This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile programmes in a secure and well-resourced environment.Ideal for candidates with a background in heavy industry, shipbuilding, aerospace, rail, or structural fabrication, this role offers long-term potential and the chance to work with a respected name in the defence sector.Key Responsibilities:Interpret and work from engineering drawings, technical manuals, and work instructions.Carry out a range of sheet metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, forming, bending, drilling, riveting, and assembly.Operate a variety of workshop equipment such as press brakes, guillotines, and hand tools.Work with ferrous and non-ferrous metals in both thin and heavy gauge.Ensure high standards of finish and dimensional accuracy in line with customer specifications.Perform fitting, alignment, and assembly tasks as required.Maintain health and safety standards and contribute to a clean, efficient working environment.Complete all tasks in accordance with MOD and customer-specific requirements.Required Experience:Modern Apprenticeship certificate also known as Trade PapersProven experience in heavy construction, ..... full job details .....
