Contek Recruitment are currently working with a family-run precision CNC machining company, based in Brierley Hill, West Midlands. The company have been in operation for over 45 years and specialise in precision CNC machining for the Automotive, Agricultural, and Construction industries, along with others.

Due to a recent retirement, they are now seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a small, family-run company, and they don''t have a big quality team. You will act as the sole person within the quality department, and will oversee all quality duties within the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Programming of CMM using Aberlink software.
• Inspection of machined parts and components.
• Liasing closeley with the senior management team on all quality-related decisions.
• Overseeing all general day-to-day quality duties within the company.
• Assisting with a lot of the production planning elements of their manufacturing processes.-
• Maintaining high quality standards within the company.

Requirements:

• A strong amount of experience within quality.
• Aberlink CMM experience is preferred.
• Comfortable in working as part of a small, family-run team.
• Experience dealing with machined parts and components.
• Degree qualified (Preferred, not essential).
