Quality Engineer £40,000 £55,000 Cambridge Onsite My client is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their growing manufacturing team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality systems for high-precision products used across the communications, defence, space and transportation sectors. The Role Manage and improve quality management systems and processes Lead non-conformance investigations, change control and corrective actions Conduct internal ISO9001 and ISO27001 audits Analyse manufacturing data to drive continuous improvement Support new product introduction (NPI) and Lean manufacturing initiatives Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve quality, yield and efficiency. What They''re Looking For Experience in a Quality Engineer or similar manufacturing quality role Knowledge of ISO9001 (ISO27001 and Internal Auditor certification desirable) Experience with RCCA, 8D, FMEA and statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP Understanding of RoHS, REACH and SCIP regulations Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Experience working within a Lean manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
