Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Essex based client to recruit for a Logistics Coordinator OverviewWorking within a team to accurately process the movement of materials through the business and to meet required of on time delivery and inventory accuracy targets; this is the key to the business success. Main AccountabilitiesWithin the Logistics functions, ensure the flow of materials is quick and efficient and meets local demands.Across the entire site, ensure the correct delivery of materialsEnsure stock levels are accurate both physically within the area and on SAP.Aid customers with any part problems or stock queries and assist in their timely resolutionFlexibility within the logistics team due to variable workload; able to change between different tasks including administrative tasks across the Logistics areas as required.Ensure all Health and Safety regulations and Manual Handling guidelines are adhered to within the working area while showing a duty of care to others within the area.Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects where required Essential/Desired ExperienceComputer literate - SAP and Outlook experience - though full training will be givenGood communication and interpersonal skillsManual handling trained.Strong team player with a can do approach.Thorough and a high attention to detailAbility to solve problems and customer oriented.Fork lift truck licence 50945DHINDPROPortfolio Payroll Ltd is acting as an Employment ..... full job details .....
