A specialist SEN school in Newham is looking for a passionate SEN Teacher to teach a KS2 class of pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated communication needs.

The role:

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons

• Use visual timetables, PECS and Makaton to support communication

• Collaborate with therapists and support staff to meet EHCP targets

Requirements:

• QTS (specialist SEN training an advantage)

• Understanding of autism and sensory needs

• Patient, nurturing approach with strong communication skills
