Credit Controller Job Type: Full-time (hybrid after probation) Location: Slough Salary: £30 - £31,000k Hours: 08.30 am - 17. 30pm We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join our team. This role is crucial for pursuing the receipt of payments from customers and maintaining accurate account records. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in credit control, possess strong IT skills, and exhibit excellent communication abilities. Day-to-day of the role: Pursue the receipt of money from customers and respond promptly to any account queries. Operate all procedures related to credit control in accordance with established routines and programmes. Monitor "special accounts" under your control and report any discrepancies or illogical findings to your leader. Liaise with Finance Houses to ensure that deals are accepted and documentation is in place before dispatching equipment. Respond to all customer communications promptly and maintain all records related to credit control in a neat and logical fashion. Prioritise chasing invoices over £1,000 in value by telephone until a satisfactory resolution is reached. Conduct credit checks and control all litigation proceedings. Regularly review the sales ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
