Position OverviewWe are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with at least 1 year of experience to work either 1:1 or with small groups of children with various special educational needs in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support and implement a well-structured curriculum aligned with the Early Years Framework.
Supervise students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
Provide additional learning support as needed.
Engage, motivate, and encourage students to complete their work.
Ensure students stay focused and meet their lesson objectives.
Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour.
Provide feedback on students'' progress and development.
Create an engaging, supportive learning environment fostering social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Collaborate with parents, guardians, and educators in supporting children''s learning journey.
Promote positive behaviour management techniques and establish clear boundaries.
Requirements
Level 3 TA qualification or a Level 6 Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Proven experience working with children in a primary school environment.
Thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its application in planning, teaching, and assessment.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to different learning styles and abilities.
