Our client a market leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-end commercial and residential joinery sector in the UK is currently looking for a Joinery Estimator to join their team as soon as possible.The role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates for prestigious joinery projects within the commercial and residential building sectors.Key Responsibilities:Site visitsAttend tender meetingsProduce detailed quotations and tender returns based on architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirementsLiaise with internal departments (design, production, and contracts) to ensure clarity and accuracy in costingsSource and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricingAssist with project handovers to the delivery teamIdeal Candidate:Previous estimating experience within interior joinery sectorStrong understanding of technical drawings and specificationsCommercially astute with good numeracy and attention to detailExcellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholdersExperience using estimating software or Excel to compile BOQs and take-offsBenefits:Career growth opportunities and working for a stable company. ..... full job details .....
