Morgan Hunt is proud to be partnering with a large public sector organisation in the search for an experienced Maintenance Joiner. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading, well-established organisation within the public sector. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric and joinery across the site.Undertake repairs and installations including doors, locks, windows, flooring, and general carpentry works.Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organisational standards.Diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently to minimise disruption.Complete minor refurbishment and improvement projects as required.Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and completed tasks.Work collaboratively with other members of the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the site. Key Requirements: SVQ Level 3 in Carpentry/Joinery (or equivalent qualification).Proven experience in a maintenance joinery role, ideally within a large-scale or public sector environment.Strong knowledge of building maintenance and fault diagnosis.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.Willingness to participate in training and development programmes. 35 Hours per week Long term temp work with the opportunity to go permanent.
