SEN Learning Support Assistant - Primary SchoolBlythFull Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pmWe are currently recruiting for a caring and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to work within a mainstream primary school in Blyth. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide tailored support to learners with a range of additional needs, including communication difficulties, ASD, ADHD and social, emotional or behavioural needs.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needsAssist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessonsSupport pupils with social, emotional and behavioural developmentHelp create a safe, positive and nurturing learning environmentMonitor progress and contribute to pupil support plansBuild positive relationships with pupils, staff and parentsRequirements:Previous experience supporting children with SEN is desirableLevel 2 Teaching Assistant qualification preferredA patient, resilient and nurturing approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsA commitment to safeguarding and supporting children''s wellbeingSafeguarding Requirements:An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service is preferredApplicants without one must be willing to obtain a new enhanced DBSThis is a ..... full job details .....
