Senior Data Architect – Finance Consultancy

| London / Hybrid (WFH to £115k). This role is with a global technology consultancy serving banking, financial services and insurance clients. A senior, hands-on Data Architect who helps design data solutions and enable advanced data management across client programmes.You will partner with technology leaders to provide best-practice guidance for data management, data architecture development and optimisation, supporting transitions to cloud-based services and delivering high-quality data capabilities. There are opportunities to specialise and to manage small project teams.Location

Hybrid work from home model with two days per week in the London office (or at client site in London).Responsibilities

Architect and implement data strategy, solutions and governance models aligned with client needsAlign data architecture and strategy across multiple programmes, work streams and business unitsDevelop enterprise data platforms using cloud data technologies (AWS, Data Bricks, GCP, Azure)Apply contextual data modelling, entity-relationship modelling, logical and physical data modelling, and data lake designCollaborate within financial services or consultancy environmentsCommunicate effectively with clients and manage stakeholdersQualifications

Experience architecting and implementing data strategy, governance and data architectureExperience across multiple programmes/work streams and business unitsStrong experience with cloud data technologies (AWS, Data Bricks, GCP, Azure)Knowledge of Contextual Data Modelling, ER Modelling, Logical/Physical Modelling and Data Lake designExperience in financial services or consultancy environmentsAdvanced communication, client-facing and stakeholder management skillsWhat''s in it for you
