We are working in partnership with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Ealing to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Social Sciences, specialising in Psychology and Sociology.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive Humanities and Social Sciences department within a school that values academic excellence, student wellbeing, and professional development.
The Role:
- Teach Psychology and Sociology across Key Stages 4 and 5 (KS4/KS5)
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
- Contribute to curriculum development within the Social Sciences department
- Monitor and support student progress, ensuring high attainment and achievement
- Participate in departmental planning, school events, and wider school life
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- A strong academic background in Psychology, Sociology, or a related Social Science subject
- Experience teaching at GCSE and/or A-Level
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for social sciences and the ability to make the subjects engaging and accessible
- Commitment to safeguarding and student development
