Howdens is currently seeking an experienced Tool Room Servicing Operator to join our team at our manufacturing site in Howden, East Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the service, repair, and manufacture of in-house tooling, supporting our production operations with precision and expertise. If you have a background as an operator or a CNC Machinist with tooling knowledge, we are keen to hear from you. Shift 6am 4:30pm Monday to Thursday Salary £49,263.24 per annum What you ll be doing: As a Tool Room Servicing Operator, your main responsibilities will include: - Servicing, repairing, and manufacturing tooling for our production facilities using a variety of machinery, including Vollmer QM machines, CNC lathes, milling machines, sharpening machines, and manual machines. - Assembling components and interpreting technical working drawings accurately. - Recording production data with precision and maintaining high standards of workmanship. - Conducting detailed quality checks aligned with our quality control processes. - Modifying tools and making adjustments as requested by the Tool Room Manager. - Performing machine safety checks before use and contributing to a safe, clean working environment.
