German Speaking Customer Service Advisor

Main Duties:
To deliver high-quality customer service and logistical support for UK and international clients while working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

The Role:
- Respond to customer queries by phone, email, and online portals
- Handle booking requests via internal systems and client platforms
- Liaise with UK and European customers and partners
- Coordinate with internal departments: imports, exports, warehousing, domestic transport
- Manage escalations and follow up on service issues
- Support sales activity: prospecting, quoting, onboarding new clients
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Assist the wider Customer Solutions and Sales Hub teams
- Maintain accuracy and compliance in all administrative processes
- Participate in training to stay up to date on procedures

The Candidate:
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
- Background in customer service and/or logistics (road freight preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexible and proactive mindset

The Salary:
Up to -30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
