What You Will Do: 

- Lead the design and development of body structures, including subframes, structural trays, braces, and other key components, from concept to production.

- Ensure components meet performance targets such as durability, stiffness, weight, cost, and safety, while adhering to engineering standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of structures within vehicle systems.

- Manage design progression, issue resolution, and tooling releases in line with programme milestones.

- Deliver engineering sign-off through comprehensive Design Verification Plans (DVP) and CAE reports.

- Support the development of FMEAs, standards, and Bills of Design to uphold engineering quality and prevent recurrence of issues.

What You Will Bring: 

- Proven expertise in body structures design and engineering, with experience in both steel and aluminium.

- A strong track record of delivering projects that meet performance targets and programme timelines.

- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and a solid understanding of engineering quality processes.
