This role involves delivering specialist occupational therapy input within a school setting, including sensory work, functional assessment, and joint working with vision specialists. You will play a key role in helping the young person access learning and develop effective sensory regulation strategies. Key Responsibilities Conduct an initial school visit (60 minutes) to observe the young person in class and meet with their LSA. Deliver sensory-based workshops (90 minutes each) tailored to the young person''s needs. Complete joint assessments (90 minutes each) with the Qualified Teacher for Vision Impairment (QTVI). Provide clear, effective written reports with equipment and strategy recommendations following each assessment. Collaborate with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure consistent support. Maintain high-quality clinical documentation in line with professional and safeguarding standards. Requirements BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy. HCPC registration (essential).
