Salary: -36,000 - -40,000

Responsibilities:
As a Production CNC / Design Engineer, you will:
- Enhance manufacturing methods for existing products
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams on new product designs
- Investigate quality issues and implement effective solutions
- Drive 5S initiatives in manufacturing and machine building
- Contribute to R&D projects to expand expertise
- Design tools, fixtures, and machine parts using SolidWorks 3D CAD
- Generate CNC programmes with SolidCAM software and oversee implementation
- Develop new tooling solutions and engineering practices
- analyse and resolve operational production issues
- Train staff on new methods and processes
- Assist sales and manufacturing with feasibility reviews
- Liaise with customers and distributors on technical queries
- Provide technical support to the sales desk as needed
- Create costing models for new business opportunities
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Proven experience in CNC programming and design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidCAM software
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in honing technologies or related fields
- Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principles
- Background in tooling development and production improvement
