Supply Desk is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a vibrant and supportive mainstream primary school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time position, starting in September 2025, ideal for a newly qualified teacher ready to begin their teaching career in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Job Description:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of all pupils.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress regularly.
• Work closely with year group colleagues, phase leaders, and support staff.
• Establish strong classroom routines and promote positive behaviour for learning.
• Take part in staff meetings, planning sessions, training days, and whole-school events.
• Engage in the schoolandrsquo;s ECT induction programme and be open to ongoing CPD.

• Hold or be working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECT status required by September 2025).
• Be passionate about primary education and committed to supporting every childandrsquo;s development.
• Be proactive, reflective, and eager to grow professionally.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be confident with classroom and behaviour management strategies.
• Be enthusiastic about contributing to the wider school community.
• Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
