Our market leading client is growing their technical team and are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join them as Technical Sales Support Engineer. You will provide support to customers and the sales force team for technical matters.Technical support will cover many products, specialising in pneumatic automation and thermo temperature control. You will be supporting sales growth by training and proactive promotion ofexisting and new products.Key Responsibilities:Support for customer questions via phone and e-mailProcess requests for special products and variationsAnalyse, check and report writing on customer product returnsNew product development proposal activityMarket and competitor product analysis and understandingSupporting sales force with customer visits and application developmentProduct management including training, new product introduction and supersession of discontinued product rangesRequirements:Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineAble to communicate proficiently via telephone and email with both internal and external customersA methodical problem solver who is logical, organised and able to keep clear comprehensive recordsAbility to clearly and effectively present technical subjects, face-to-face and via webinarExperience working within an Engineering environmentHands-on testing and diagnostic experienceExperience handling multiple projects with ability to prioritise, manage own time, and meet deadlinesDesirable ..... full job details .....
