We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver civils and groundwork packages on large-scale residential developments across London and the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work on high-profile schemes.

The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating site teams and subcontractors across a range of civils and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities across groundwork and civils packages
• Supervise and coordinate site teams, including Foremen, Engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
• Manage site programmes and ensure works are delivered in line with project timelines
• Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement effective solutions
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance across all site activities
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils, groundworks, or residential projects
• Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, and infrastructure works
• Experience working on large residential or mixed-use developments
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and site compliance
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
