Position: Primary School Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students in a variety of subjects.
* Provide one-on-one support to children who need additional help, including those with learning difficulties or special educational needs (SEN).
* Help set up and prepare classroom activities, ensuring resources are available.
* Support children''s social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and encouragement.
* Monitor and track the progress of individual students, providing feedback to the teacher.
* Assist with the classroom''s day-to-day routines, including lunch and break times.
* Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment.
* Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about supporting children''s learning and development.
* Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with young learners.
* Excellent in communication skills, both with children and adults.
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of individual students.
* Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).
* Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3) is desirable, but not essential.
* A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
