Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Process Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and controlling chemical processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Duties

• Monitor and operate chemical processing equipment in accordance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Adjust process parameters to optimise production efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and pipelines, identifying any potential issues or hazards.
• Collect, record, and analyse data related to process performance to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Implement safety protocols, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process activities, including logs and reports.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to perform scheduled repairs or troubleshooting as required.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations concerning waste disposal and emissions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in chemical processing or related industrial environment is desirable.
• Strong understanding of chemical safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, process flowcharts, and safety documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights or weekends if necessary.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or equivalent are preferred.
