Assistant Site Manager
The Role As the Assistant Site Manager, you will assist overseeing the day-to-day delivery of planned kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works within occupied social housing properties. Key Responsibilities Health and Safety Lead site safety and ensure compliance with all company Health and Safety policies and procedures. Manage site inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments, method statements, PPE requirements, and CSCS compliance. Promote a positive safety culture across all site teams and subcontractors. Report and escalate any accidents, incidents, near misses, or safety concerns promptly. Site Management Supervise, motivate, and manage operatives and subcontractors on site. Monitor productivity and ensure works are progressing in line with programme requirements. Ensure high standards of workmanship, quality, housekeeping, and waste management. Verify that all materials and installations meet project specifications and quality requirements. Ensure residents have full service provisions at the end of each working day. Project Delivery Work closely with the Contracts Manager and Project Manager to effectively plan and deliver projects. Review specifications, drawings, programmes, and health and safety documentation prior to commencement. Monitor project progress and provide accurate updates through company systems, including PiLLAR and PiLON 360. Maintain detailed and accurate site records to ensure full project traceability.
