HGV 2 Night Trunker Battersea SW11 Monday to Friday 5.00pm - 3.00am 20.30 per hour Weekly Paid Genuine Temp to Perm Immediate Start Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Night Trunker to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely during night shifts. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations while ensuring timely deliveries. Duties Operate HGV 2 vehicles for the transportation of goods across designated routes during night hours. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, including flatbed operations when required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per company policy. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver, preferably in a trunking role. Familiarity with flatbed operations is advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in logistics.
