Location: Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 2QY
Salary: Dependent on experience
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am-5pm

We are based in Wokingham, Berkshire with roles available at our head office and others based around the country.
Job Purpose:
An exciting position has become available for a full time Trainee Test and Development Technician to join a friendly team mostly based in Wokingham. Occasionally visits to the offices in Bedford, Manchester and other sites will be required.
Apprenticeships in conjunction with a college for Level 3 Engineering Technician or Level 2 Engineering Operative will be considered, and working hours may be adapted to suit college days.
Role Responsibilities:
• Learning to setting up test rigs and conducting destructive and non-destructive testing such as cycle tests, release forces, abuse, and any other adhoc testing
• Learning use of pneumatics and control equipment
• Learning to assemble and install locks for test
• Assisting with maintaining test lab, equipment and calibration
• Learning to work in accordance with test standards and quality procedures
• Assisting with design of test equipment and test methods
• Writing up testing reports
• Feedback test results to the design and production teams to assist product research, design and development
• Plus, any other tasks applicable to your role and experience as requested by Managers/Director
