OverviewCommunity Mental Health Nurse; based at Midlothian recovery hub No 11 and working within the Midlothian Substance Misuse Service.

Responsibilities

Work within a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) with a range of skills and areas of expertise, in partnership with the patient, family and carers in treatment and recovery from moderate to severe substance use problems.

MDT working with Social Work and Peer roles that are highly valued and integrated within the service.

Operate a key worker system to empower patients to participate in their ongoing treatment and care.

Based in Midlothian recovery hub No 11.

Core hours of the team are Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm.

Requirements

PVG Scheme membership/record is required. If not current for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before starting.

To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement to demonstrate permission to work in the country, checked by the UK Visas and Immigration Service.
