Painter & Decorator
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
Pay Rate: -23.00 per hour Umbrella
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: 12-week temporary to permanent
Vehicle: Company Van Provided
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a well-established housing association covering Bracknell and the surrounding areas.
The role involves carrying out painting, decorating and general finishing works within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
The position will initially be offered on a 12-week temporary basis, with the intention of transitioning into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works.
- Prepare surfaces, including sanding, filling and making good.
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other decorative finishes.
- Complete decorating works within occupied and void social housing properties.
- Carry out minor repairs and associated preparation works.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Work independently to complete allocated jobs within agreed timescales.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator.
- Experience working within social housing or property maintenance is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of painting, decorating and surface preparation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Relevant trade qualifications are desirable.
