About the RoleThe Deputy BCN Biobank Operations Manager will be responsible for day-to-day activities of the Breast Cancer Now (BCN) Biobank operational centre. The post holder''s duties include management of tissue acquisition, storage, material requests and release, data verification, line management of junior staff and provision of training.About YouThe post requires a dedicated, motivated and passionate individual who will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Breast Cancer Now Biobank (BCNB). Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, desirable to have a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject and provide three good references. The role requires substantial skills in teamwork and experience working in the oncology research environment. This role requires management of the team of tissue collection and data officers, so line management experience is essential.
